Several tests were conducted using Licorice as the base (1st coat) and other studio glazes as modifiers (2nd coat). All applications were dipped. The first coat was held for a count of 3 and the second for a count of 2. Some of the results may have been different if the second coat was held also for a count of 3, although this might have produced more running of the glazes.
